  1. SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides services relating to the daily operations of the Cooperatives Control Center through employee dispatching, distribution system monitoring and the administration of all associated paperwork and file/record keeping.

  1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs Personally

  1. Assists consumers over the telephone and through other forms of communication with services such as providing account information, providing electrical service information and routing calls to other departments as required.
  2. Monitors distribution system status using such tools as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Outage Management System (OMS) and various other monitoring devices and acts accordingly upon abnormal system conditions.
  3. Performs routine SCADA operations associated with normal work procedures and maintains required logs.
  4. Dispatches other Cooperative personnel relating to account disconnect/reconnects, power outages, system service work (service orders), etc.
  5. Maintains any and all files (paper and electronic) required relating to Control Center Operations.
  6. Receives information relating to system work and repair and creates and processes service orders related to such work.
  7. Maintains records, processes and initiates required action associated with account disconnection/reconnection, theft of service, meter changes, scheduled outages, membership fees and deposits, billing schedules, rate schedules, etc.
  8. Maintains information associated with after-hours work of field personnel including overtime records.
  9. Maintains information on on-call personnel each week.
  10. Reviews staking sheets and meter orders for information required to be input/verified in the billing/consumer database system (SEDC).
  11. Assists with any Cooperative special activities as called upon.
  12. Performs such other duties as assigned.

``` 3. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience, Education and Licensure

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or completion of Technical School preferred. This is an entry level position. Specialized training in business, customer service or advanced computer technology is desired. A basic understanding of electrical principles would be considered a positive attribute. Possesses an effective working knowledge of office procedures and equipment, particularly computers and related hardware and software. Must display proper grammar and business etiquette in all aspects of communications, both written and oral.

    1. Language Skills

Strong language skills are required. Will be required to learn how to read, proofread, analyze, and interpret raw and processed consumer data, billing cycles and procedures, consumer account documents, accounting forms, electrical service information documents and other information related to job duties listed above. Ability to communicate ideas effectively, research findings and transfer requested information to others.
