Job Description

A Client/Employer in Stanton, TN is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineers. These engineers must be flexible to significant travel during initial plant start-up phase, and ability to support any shift in a 7-day work week. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Coaching Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work

• Monitor Andon occurrences

• Verify that the line is running safely, smoothly and producing quality parts

• Coach problem resolution to team members and support Continuous Improvement

• Optimize the amount of material passing through the line in accordance with budgets and cost objectives

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Material, Electrical, Electronic or Industrial

• 2+ years of leadership/supervisor experience in a manufacturing industry

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles

• Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes

• Strong knowledge of Andon System

• Knowledge of constraint management principles

• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel) * Bodyshop, stamping, paint, or subassembly experience

• Experience working on a start-up plant null
