1. Creating test plans to be reviewed by the business, subject matter experts, and developers.
2. Consolidating inputs from the team and providing estimate recommendations to manager for the Test Strategy definition of the project.
3. Developing and validating scenarios, types of testing, and number of cycles of testing required for a test module and ensuring readiness to begin testing for assigned module.
4. Executing designed test cases as per deadline and log defects accordingly and assign severity based on business requirements.
5. Managing defects for individual change requests and working with developers and subject matter expert's to help them understand the severity and priority of the defect.
6. Analyzing inter-dependencies between tasks, flagging them to supervisors, and providing input to the schedule.
7. Validating the Defect Prevention plan and activities for the relevant modules.
8. Identifying a list of different sources of risk as applicable to the project.
9. Creating questionnaires that the application will use to investigate the sources and categories of risk.
10. Analyzing each of the sources and categories by subjecting them to the created questionnaire.
11. Analyzing the assumptions made in test planning to identify risks.
12. Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.
