Job Description

Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute the global IT operations strategy aligning with overall business objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Financial management of the functional budget with on-going focus on cost optimization Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Global IT Management: Oversee and coordinate IT operations on a global scale. Ensure seamless integration and standardization of IT processes across different regions. Collaborate with international teams to address diverse IT requirements.

Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of both Cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure. Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of IT systems. Manage Azure AD and Office 365 environments for seamless operations. Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Customer-Centric Helpdesk Services: Establish and maintain a customer-centric approach in managing helpdesk services. Monitor and improve service levels, response times, and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem resolution.

Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and ensure vendor performance meets expectations. Evaluate new vendors and technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.

Enterprise Architecture: Directs the development of the enterprise-wide technology architecture which defines the structure and operation of technical business solutions within the organization's architecture by considering every aspect of architecture (application architecture, cloud architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture, security architecture, etc.). Oversees the implementation of technical alternatives. Manages a team of Enterprise Architects, Solutions Architects and/or specialized architects (application architects, cloud architects, data architects, infrastructure architects, security architects, etc.). Provides cost benefit analyses, risk analyses and development plans to take account of design decisions. Advocates for continuous development and improvement of architectural solutions to maximize business efficiency. Monitors architecture reviews, according to agreed plans, and assessing the degree of compliance with architecture and organizational standards. Leads the implementation of components of the architecture strategy to realize overall direction.
