About the Role

E-motor requirement engineer is responsible for defining and specifying the technical requirements of electric motors used in various applications. This role involves understanding the performance needs, efficiency targets, size constraints, and other specifications of the system where the electric motor will be integrated. Requirement management of electric motors in series and platform projects using tools and processes according to the current state of the art.

Your Responsibilities

• Requirement management of electric motors in series and platform projects

• Design and coordination of requirement standardization and platform projects

• Technical contact/specialist for the E-Motor requirement descriptions in a project (platform and/or building block - BB standardization coordination and interface to Core Technology Project - CTP and Customer Application Project - CAP)

• Representing the requirements topics to other groups and line managers

• Collaboration in project teams and assumption of tasks

• Planning and conducting reviews

• Ensuring systematic and process-oriented work approach

Your preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable field of study

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the development of electric machines and/or their peripherals

  • Knowledge of requirements management including relevant tools

  • Knowledge in the design of electric machines and/or their peripherals

  • Understanding of automotive technology requirements, as well as knowledge of relevant standards, is advantageous
