The team that built the innovative Silicon IP AZ1 Neural Edge that is powering the latest generation of Echo devices is looking for a Lab Management Engineer to continue to innovate on behalf of our customers. We are a part of Amazon Lab126 that revolutionized reading with our Kindle family of products and reimagined user experience through Echo and Alexa. We want you to help us build on the success of our first generation of ML accelerator at edge.

Key job responsibilities

• Equipment procurement and vendor registration

• Working with vendors in case of issues

• Warranty and support follow-up for equipment

• Board rework

• Work with assembly houses

• Working with Customs and shipment for bonding/de-bonding of items

• Inventory Management

• Support for h/w, s/w and QA engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in mechanical or electrical with 6-8 years of relevant industry experience.

• Ability to read system schematics and mechanical drawings

• Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance.

• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Maintain flexibility to be on call to address production line needs.

• Should be able to partner with global counterparts and good team work skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willing to work in a fast paced sustaining industrial electromechanical equipment.

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, cooling and heating systems.

• Proven work experience as an equipment maintenance engineer.

• Experience in managing Emulator and prototyping platforms installation and maintenance.

• Experience in working with Thermal control equipment to perform PVT testing.
