Do you want to work in the IT Commercial Applications team? Do you enjoy working with cloud technology?

We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer I who is CI/CD software release wizard of the IT Commercial Applications team. As a critical member of the team, you will lead the day to day activity of our software releases and CI/CD pipeline in support of ensuring the uptime of our software to support our eCommerce, CRM, and related software environments. You'll take an active role both in defining and implementing the CI/CD technology, tools, and processes used for our software release. Having a solid setup of our Azure Cloud is a key driver to help us to achieve our eCommerce strategy and vision. We care deeply about providing awesome eCommerce customer experience. This is a hybrid position requiring 50-75% in office and 25-50% at home with possibility of international travel 1-2x per year.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Support software development team with optimized CI/CD automated deployment processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and production issues in a timely manner

  • Develop automated internal frameworks or tools to increase developer release velocity or improve code health

  • Document and create standards and procedures to help streamline the software development process while ensuring that systems are compliant with internal processes and procedures

  • Manage security and availability monitoring for all services

  • Work collaboratively with QA Test teams to improve quality assurance standards via End-to-End tests and other test automation strategies.

  • Participate in Agile Scrum process

  • Will need to work once a month on Saturday to support production deployments

  • Will need to a part of an on call schedule to support the 24/7 uptime of the corporate website

  • Will need to support late evening calls with global offices including US

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science or related field

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience building and operating production systems in the following areas: SRE, DevOps, Cloud Operations, Production Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience in working with Azure Cloud, GIT, Azure CLI, PowerShell, and other scripting languages and tools to support CI/CD automated software deployments

  • Experience with RDBMS and proficient with writing SQL queries to query databases

  • Experience with digital and web technologies

  • 3-5 years of experience of Agile Scrum and Agile tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Miro)

  • 3-5 years of experience with Zendesk or other ticketing system

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with authorization frameworks a plus

  • A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions

  • Understanding of cloud, digital and web technologies such as content management systems, CRM, product catalogs, and e-commerce tools a plus
