Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Operations

Iron Mountain continues on a transformational journey to standardize its finance platforms globally, as well as provide world-class service delivery capabilities for enterprise applications. Oracle Cloud is a key piece of this transformation, and our Service Delivery organization is looking to add additional capability to its technology team to provide best-in-class support to our business as they continue in the Company’s aggressive growth strategy into the future.

The Senior Manager, Oracle Cloud Operations will join an existing team of Mountaineers and vendor partners to ensure the service delivery activities in the Oracle platform application space exceed customer expectations, meet SOX compliance requirements, follow our ITIL protocols and are secure and high-performing. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Oracle Cloud Financials platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials, along with a strong background in team leadership and operations management.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Lead and manage a team of operations support specialists responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Oracle Cloud Financials platform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and external vendors, to address system issues, implement enhancements, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure our instance management strategy is sound, coordinating with Oracle to ensure our instances are refresh and available to meet project demands

  • Provide technical leadership and introduce automation to simplify our existing manual processes Oversee our ongoing, monthly and quarterly SOX requirements to ensure both Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS platforms remain compliant

  • Review Oracle’s product roadmap and quarterly updates, preparing our Service Delivery team and others for the quarterly patching of our SaaS applications

  • Ensure our application security is robust, managing Oracle’s roles and privileges through the use of proper custom roles which meet audit requirements with respect to segregation of duties, etc while providing the access our global user community needs to do their jobs effectively

  • Liaise with Oracle project delivery/engineering teams as well as other service delivery teams to ensure efficient project delivery, deployment of enhancements and coordinated integration of our applications to others across the enterprise

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and best practices for the Oracle Cloud Financials environment.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

SKILLS & BEHAVIORS

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Financials operations support, with a proven track record of success in managing complex financial systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Procurement.

  • 10 years of combined, relevant experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Financials; minimum 3 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials.

  • 8 years of service delivery experience managing global applications.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and best practices, with experience in implementing and optimizing financial systems and workflows.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Hands-to-keyboard techno-functional skills in Oracle Cloud configuration

  • Oracle BIP/OTBI report-building skills to leverage the data in the application to resolve issues Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high pressure situations and manage distributed teams with competing priorities with tight deadlines

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to transform how we operate today to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline Finance/Accounting background is ideal

  • In-depth knowledge of automation, SRE, and technologies to develop and implement effective strategies for automation and continuous improvement.
