HP Inc. HR Global Services Advisor in Bangkok, Thailand

This role is responsible for conducting HR processes like onboarding, data management, and compliance, while also advising on service enhancements. The role manages employee records, collaborates on process improvements, maintains control standards, and aids in HR education and training. The role focuses on enhancing the employee experience, supports projects and provides expert HR guidance, contributing to seamless HR operations and knowledge sharing.

What a HR Operations Advisor does at HP:

  • Provides support and processes HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in HR system, new-hire pre-onboarding, onboarding activities, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, termination of employment, etc.

  • Initiates, reviews, and approves daily HR system transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Oversees employee records, ensures information is accurate and up-to-date, and supports audits, government surveys, and reporting.

  • Serves as a consultant to departments outside of the shared services program to help streamline and improve HR processes and procedures and to provide training on best practices.

  • Maintains organization's internal HR control standards, including timely implementation of internal audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

  • Works with shared services managers to improve processes and systems to deliver a positive experience throughout the employee's lifecycle.

  • Contributes to educating HR generalists, people managers, and employees on practices and tools to encourage them to resolve issues on their own through HR systems and platforms.

  • Provides orientation to new hires and delivers training for new processes, programs, and platform rollouts.

  • Ensures exceptional service by promptly and accurately responding to questions by employees via HR platform where country-specific HR knowledge or solutions are required and updates knowledge database articles.

  • Supports projects including acquisition deals, representing the HR Global Services organization as needed.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

  • Minimum 2 years relevant HR related experiences

  • Strong customer focus while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences. (e.g. written and verbal)

  • Good understanding of HR programs, policies and processes

  • Knowledge and experience in HR discipline
