Nike Head Coach - Store Manager NVS Barberino in Barberino del Mugello, Italy

Facilitates the sale of products/services in various retail environments by ensuring products are in stock and displayed accordingly, interacting with customers and answering questions, or operating equipment to complete transactions.

Responsible for in-store operations including direct sales and service to consumers, product flow and stock replenishment, maintaining the appearance of sales floor, or managing the employees who perform these functions.

Typical Capabilities

Scope: Typically manages subordinate managers and directly oversees supervisors. Drives team and business results for a small or midsize store. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline, while still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. Implements and executes strategies for the team to deliver tactical results.

Problem Solving: Solves problems using limited information; applies conceptual thinking to understand complex issues; recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures. Adjusts communication style to inform broad audiences. Works with non-routine information and develops recommendations to pitch ideas or services. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Leadership: Accountable for meeting short- and long-term targets that impact the store. Manages the P/L process. Responsible for performance management, pay, and resourcing decisions for subordinate managers and associates.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.
