The Medical Director Physician Informatics:

• Directs and participates in physician activities associated with the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical information tools and processes.

• Leads the clinical decision support team and activities related to CDS.

• Works one on one educating physicians in the use of new and existing BayCare Clinical IT systems.

• Reports to CMIO and directly collaborates with SVP/CIO. Direct reports include physician informaticists.

• Additional required skills includes Detailed knowledge of the clinical process and system workflows of a hospital, and understands multi-hospital governance relationships and works well in a matrix environment achieving established goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required - Doctorate - Medical Doctor; Or - Doctorate - Osteopathic Medicine

Experience:

• Change Management

• Clinical Related

• Information Technology
