Edwards Lifesciences Therapy Development Manager DACH in Bayern, Germany

Lead the implementation of complex clinical practice strategies for sustained therapy adoption and improvement of patient care within hospital and hospital systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and successfully lead the implementation of customized clinical protocols and processes with key customers and larger hospital systems (e.g., GPO) in partnership with multiple and matrixed staff members.

• Set national strategy to lead implementation of focused quality optimization initiatives to ensure hospital adoption of process and products to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.

• Partner with leadership to develop and design strategies in order to drive utilization of quality initiatives. Run Pilot cases to prove value of Innovation. Partner with the sites to collect data.

• Serve as an expert resource to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Hospital C-Suite, Sales Directors, GPOs, Business unit managers, field sales, market access, clinicians, anesthetists, cardiovascular teams within the hospitals) while leveraging knowledge gained through direct clinician interactions and relationships, in order to provide relevant input to critical conversations.

Partner with Market Access to develop strategies to drive utilization of quality initiatives through common quality measurements.

• Oversee and consult on national medical affairs and professional education strategy

• Research data, partner with data experts, set strategy for key metrics, and present base line and outcome findings to key stakeholders. Develop the European database for potential publication.

• Provide clinically relevant feedback to Engineering team on software product development

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in Healthcare administration, Nursing, or related field, 10 years years experience of previous related experience with direct healthcare management of large clinical organizations Required or

Master's Degree or equivalent 8 years years experience of previous related experience with direct healthcare management of large clinical organizations Required

Other: Experience with quality performance, clinical process design, and/or sophisticated clinical pathways Required

Other: Experience managing a large clinical staff Preferred

• Expert on CC Technology (products and how they benefit patients and hospitals) ensuring the right protocol for collecting the right data.

• Expert understanding of current clinical research while applying it to clinical practice

• Expert understanding and knowledge of governmental policies and regulations on impact of care

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

• Strict attention to detail, analytical

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Frequently interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between cross-functional teams and the company; often leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team

• Develop relationships and leverage them to in influence change

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Travel Requirements:

% Native speaker + English and available for 80% of travel
