Oracle Senior Program Manager in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Develop the long-term strategy and vision for continuous improvement of activation & provisioning performance for cloud subscriptions. Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organisational objectives with respect to Oracle Cloud Provisioning.

Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and collaborators.Work closely with cross functional teams & other program managers to develop the scope/requirements, deliverables, timings, identify risks for launch decision and operational readiness plan.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBA/BS/B Tech/BE/M Tech degree with 6+ years of experience with a great academic background.

  • PMP, Scrum master or any other PM related certification is a plus point.

  • Strong program management ability to manage medium to large scale programs by collaborating with other stake holders. Experience in managing stake holders.

  • Exceptional skills in time management, facilitation, and organization

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, quickly changing environment, work with minimum direction and take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to get things done

  • Experience in release management and defining release readiness criteria, ensuring all changes meet criteria prior to deployment

  • Experience in proposal and requirement writings. Any other knowledge in any technology like SQL/Java/Web Technology is a big plus point.

  • Great teammate who can work well with team members in a collaborative environment.

  • Reporting and Business intelligence experience is a plus point.

  • Successful candidates should demonstrate high attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills, excellent command of English and cheery helpfulness.

  • Strong ability to solve operational problems, with ability to identify and automate common routines

  • Dedicated team player, and excellent communication skills.

  • Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and Change Management process

  • Raise bugs and work with different technical teams in analyzing and following up on the issues

  • High degree of professionalism and integrity

  • Prior knowledge on the quoting, ordering, billing, cloud provisioning solution application is a plus

  • Experience with cloud products and cloud infrastructure

  • Prior provisioning process experience is a plus point.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the long-term strategy and vision for continuous improvement of activation & provisioning performance. Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.

  • Identifying, documenting and adopting standard processes to improve SaaS/Tech/GBU provisioning experience.

  • Overall ownership of Provisioning strategy for corporate initiatives, review & assess requirements, provide input on provisioning solution guidance and future direction strategy with proper testing participation and oversight.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and partners.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams & other program managers to develop the scope/requirements, deliverables, timings, identify risks for launch decision and operational readiness plan.

  • Operational ownership of provisioning for all Oracle SaaS offerings

  • Author and contribute to customer facing user guides, notifications and Self-Service Provisioning interfaces

  • Partner with business counterpart, product development teams to drive solution to reduce activation & provisioning frictions. Proactively identify potential risks/issues and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies

  • Build and enhance automated end-to-end monitoring/sensible alerting to reduce the provisioning cycle time

  • Work with SaaS Product strategy teams, Development release teams and Oracle Cloud Framework solution teams to improve the provisioning experience across all SaaS products

  • Drive standard root cause analysis and defect/enhancement tracking across all technical teams & compliance tracking, influence new features in the Cloud Framework releases

  • Develop standards and controls to reduce release defects and regression
