Description
This position operates under the direction of the Director of Talent and Organizational Development and with the Community Based Training Coordinator and in collaboration with Community BasedDepartmental Leadership. This position is an essential role in managing the onboarding and continuous training of new CB employees (CFTSS/HCBS) in the Southern Region, and assisting with training in Syracuse area per the discretion of the Community Based Training Coordinator. The CB training advisor provides logistical assistance, tracking and support for new hires. This position will coordinate with Human Resources and the Talent and Organizational Development Departments to ensure that all new CB employees (CFTSS/HCBS) in the Southern Region are on-boarded and trained in accordance with all agency and oversight agency regulations and mandates.
In addition, the CB-Training Advisor may help in recruitment of staff for Community Based Services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all new CB employees (CFTSS/HCBS) in the Southern Region are on-boarded and trained in accordance with all agency and oversight agency regulations and mandates.
Support and assess training of new hires to 90 days as per the SOP Community Based Training.
Respond to any pertinent customer/client/new staff issues or questions.
Facilitate initial Netsmart training.
Provide continuous support for Netsmart updates.
Provide continuous support of departmental/agency trainings as directed by Community Based Training Coordinator or designee.
Any and all duties assigned by Community Based Training Coordinator or designee.
Assign/Track/monitor online trainings for CB (CFTSS/HCBS) employees
Qualifications
3 years experience in Managed Care
Experience using Netsmart preffered
Customer service experience
Training and development experience
Excellent communication skills
Reliable Transportation
High school diploma or equivalent and experience as listed above

PC Literate: Excel, Word, Outlook, Electronic Health Systems, Netsmart and Microsoft Teams
Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Able to provide crisis intervention including physical restraints. Restraints may include resistive force, bending, squatting, kneeling, lying down, and holding youth in order to maintain safety.
Ability to sit, squat, crouch and stand for elongated periods of time
Ability to lift arms over head in upward reaching motion
Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
