Aerotek is Hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Bloomington, IL

Description:

• Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company QMS program

• Identifying improvement opportunities to reduce equipment downtime, improve efficiency, improve employee safety, etc.

• Implementing preventative maintenance programs for all key plant and/or field equipment

• Maintaining an inventory of key parts and maintenance supplies to minimize equipment downtime

• Maintaining accurate maintenance records

• Being flexible to assist in other areas of the location as needs arise

• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area

• Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company QMS program.

• Verifying the content of every truck load of seed received prior to dumping

• Performing a visual inspection of each load as it is unloaded.

• Collecting a representative sample from each load according to QMS requirements

• Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity

• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Strong Mechanical Aptitude

Agriculture/seed experience is a huge plus

Machine repair/maintenance experience

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
