Our client is a senior organization looking to hire a Full Time Accounting Assistant at their facility. They are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant/Accounting Assistant at their Boca Raton, Florida location. The role primarily focuses on Billing/AR & AP, Backup Accounting Assistant tasks in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing collections diligently and accurately

• Ensure payable invoices are processed efficiently and within the set timelines

• Use Sage Accounting Software to manage financial transactions and reports

• Perform regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with established procedures

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

• Participate in financial projects and initiatives as required

• Maintain an updated database of financial records

• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable (AP) tasks as needed

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulations.

Requirements

Requirements:

-2 years of Accounting experience

• Possess an Associate's degree in a relevant field

• Demonstrable experience in billing collection

• Proficiency in handling payable invoices

• Expertise in using Sage Accounting Software

-Experience with ServTracker a plus

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and professional ethics

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
