Amazon Software Development Engineer II, ADSP: Targeting Transparency and Telemetry in Boulder, Colorado

Description

We are expanding our team in the Demand Performance org, with a focus on providing highly scalable and reliant solutions to ensure privacy and provide critical health and business insights to science, product and engineering teams across Amazon Advertising.

Key job responsibilities

You will build large scale, high availability software systems that are mission-critical for the Amazon Ad stack. We encourage innovation and expect developers to take a high level of ownership for the product vision, technical architecture and project delivery. You will mentor and coach more junior team members and work across teams (and roles) to deliver telemetry, privacy and transparency solutions to our customers.

About the team

Advertisers need to create targeted, personalized, and privacy safe experiences for people if they want to grab their attention. To help match ads to the right users, our teams curate so-called "audiences" and events, which group people with similar interests, lifestyle, demographics, or purchase intentions. Our services ingest billions of events every day, evaluate them in real-time, and vend audiences and signals for every ad request received within a fraction of a second - allowing our advertisers to show the right ads to the right user. You will have the opportunity to work on one of the world’s largest consumer and advertising data sets, as well as influence the long-term evolution of our targeting products.
