OSC 4 Lens Stock - 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Lens Stock Inventory/Order Picker for our Optical Service Center located in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company and team of people to work with. We provide full training, so each employee is comfortable while learning their new job duties.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Salary: Minimum starting wage is $17.00 an hour. This includes a $1.00 shift differential.

$1000 Hiring Bonus - $500 paid after 6 months of continuous employment, and an additional $500 paid after 9 months of continuous employment (if continued employment in an evening, night, or weekend shift).

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for optical laboratory Rx & stock orders.

Duties:

• Timely and accurate keying of lens orders into computer for electronic transmission to vendors.

• Retrieve product from inventory for Rx / stock processing.

• Access and interpret reports within software program respective to inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, et.al

• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent

• 2 yrs. work experience commensurate with position requirements

• Must be detail-oriented

• Ability to meet and maintain deadlines

• Good organizational and communication skills

• Basic PC/keyboard skills required

• General Ophthalmic knowledge preferred, but not required

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
