Our client is a dynamic and growing organization in the heart of Brunswick, Georgia. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, analyzing variances and trends to support decision-making processes.

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Month-end Close: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to enhance financial performance.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, contributing to the overall success of the finance function.

  • Professional Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills through training and professional development activities.
