What you will do?

As a Maxillofacial Sales Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to sell products that save and radically benefit patients' lives. This is not just a job; it is a career where you can grow, be developed and gain organizational influence by taking a career path which can move in many different directions.

In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to serve key accounts and Key Opinion Leader's in major centres for Maxillofacial surgery. You will own many aspects of the business and will help Stryker advance the sales effort to include a broader array of stakeholders such as non-clinical buyers. Demonstrating your ability to create longer term strategic plans, you will play a critical role in supporting pricing and strategic negotiations with clear tactics and implementation methods focusing on the return on investment. Systematically tracking your territory progress and forecasting sales, you'll proactively communicate your findings with your Business Unit Manager and push yourself to exceed each goal.

When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform customers and clinical staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products.

Responsibilities:

Sales Activity:

  • Develop relationships with existing customers.

  • Prospect potential new customers and/or users of Maxillofacial products.

  • Develop technical skill levels for in-servicing clinical staff.

  • Introduce new products in line with launches and training plans.

  • Secure and/or renew existing orders by coordinating product availability, delivery dates, inventory levels and consignment management.

  • Increase account penetration via value added programmes.

  • Attend interventional procedures whenever requested by the physician.

  • Monitor sales plans for the assigned territory based on business objectives and customer needs.

  • Build growth plans for future incremental sales expansion.

  • Participate in Quarterly Business Planning, Account Planning and local Market Modelling activity.

  • Coaching the team.

Professional Development:

  • Develop high level of technical expertise on Stryker Maxillofacial Products

  • Keep updated on Stryker Maxillofacial new products or services being offered and give feedback to the country Sales/Marketing managers on market receptivity, concerns or issues learned from the customers.

  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of market trends and environment.

  • Attend industry trade shows/events as assigned, gather leads and ensure appropriate follow-up correspondence.

What you need?

  • Demonstrated successful sales experience, in medical device or medical industry

  • Experience in Head & Neck would be beneficial

  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships, at consultant, and Hospital Management/Divisional levels

  • Exposure to training & educational programmes

  • University/technical study in administration/sales/paramedical or equivalent experience

  • Commercial skills in leading a profit centre

  • Strategic with experience of implementing new initiatives

  • Experience in team leadership preferable
