Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the hospitality industry, located in Captiva, Florida. The successful candidate will be involved in the processing, coding and data entry of invoices, working with department heads and using various software systems. This role is key in maintaining the financial health and functionality of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Coding invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization of expenses

• Collaborating with department heads to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices

• Ensuring a quick turnaround time for all accounts payable duties

• Conducting check runs to pay for approved invoices

• Maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions

• Utilizing hospitality industry knowledge to better understand and perform job duties

• Resolving any customer credit inquiries and monitoring customer credit accounts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Demonstrable skill in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Competence in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• High standard of professional integrity and confidentiality
