As a Human Resources Manager for the Building Construction Products (BCP) division, you will coordinate, administer, and develop various human resource services and functions within the division.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide direction and guidance on human resources policies and procedure, ensuring consistency

  • Actively participate as a functional resource on a business team

  • Play an integral part in the facility Employee Opinion Survey

  • Provide direction to Facility Management in interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices, and procedures

  • Provide employment and personnel services

  • Provide directives considering impact upon the company, employee engagement, and consideration for the future

  • Support and maintain regional points of contacts

  • Research, benchmark, create strategic initiatives, and design implementation strategy

  • Formulate and/or implement policies, practices, and procedures

  • Coordinate programs for management recruiting and selection

  • Develop and coordinate, training, development, and promotion

  • Manage a work unit

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9 to 12 years of practical human resource assignments

  • Experience in labor relations, benefits, compensation, personnel, and training with a working knowledge in operations

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • College/university degree

  • General understanding of the Caterpillar organization, products, and experience working with customers, and dealers

  • Strong human relations and communication skills

  • Organization planning

  • Personal computer skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Leadership skills
