Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer that is fully remote. This role is vital to our client's operations and involves conducting security-related assessments, ensuring the security of corporate digital systems, networks, programs, and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and communicating timely and appropriate security event responses, protecting system boundaries, and securing highly sensitive data.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the company's data, systems, and networks

• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities

• Respond to all system and/or network security breaches

• Review, develop, document, and implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information

• Participate in the change management process

• Organize computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs

• Create technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

• Report and provide advice to stakeholders regarding security incidents and appropriate measures

• Prepare detailed reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, Firewall Technologies, ARM Cortex, and Checkpoint Firewall.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a related role

• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required

• Experience with Checkpoint and Checkpoint Firewall is essential

• Proficiency in Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and other Cisco Technologies is necessary

• Should have a good understanding and experience with Computer Hardware, network pieces, and systems

• Must be skilled in Configuration Management

• Ability to design and implement security systems

• Knowledge and experience with Eigrp is a plus

• Experience with Firewall Technologies is required

• Familiarity with ARM Cortex is beneficial

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential

• Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
