About the Account Management Intern

The Account Management Intern is responsible for supporting the efforts of the Account Management Team. The Account Management Intern will utilize industry standard sales and client management tools (i.e. Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and will work closely with members of the Account Management Team to learn about how BrandMuscle ensures client satisfaction, revenue retention and growth across our existing enterprise clients. The Account Management Intern ideally is interested in pursuing a career in account management and/or sales and will be able to get a taste of life at BrandMuscle as an account manager.

The chosen candidate must possess an impeccable work ethic and a high level of energy, flexibility, curiosity and creativity. The role also requires strong self-direction, teamwork, and personal accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of types of information needed to effectively manage client relationships

  • Participate in BrandMuscle Sales + Account Management Meetings and Sales Muscle sessions.

  • Shadow Enterprise Account Managers to learn about BrandMuscle and key processes, including: account planning, client health management, QBR, contract renewal and expansion sales processes.

  • Learn to data-driven business management approaches, utilizing Salesforce.com, excel and other tools.

  • Learn to develop new business opportunities by prospecting and securing appointments with qualified decision-makers in a B2B environment.

  • Work with the Account Management sales team to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

Requirements

  • Degree in progress in marketing, advertising, or a related field required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience with Salesforce preferred

  • Strong analytical, multitasking, problem solving, and detail orientation skills

  • Strong self-motivation and a sense of urgency to learn and succeed

  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Pay Rate: $15/hr 

The pay rate is an estimate. Offers are based on skillset, experience, and level of expertise in the required field.
