Marketing Consultant Category: Marketing & Digital Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-371218 Job Description: Marketing Constultant Location: Seattle, WA Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and delivering key consumer insights to stakeholders within Marketing and across the organization. You will lead all phases of qualitative and quantitative primary research, ensuring the integration of Voice-of-the-Customer insights for a holistic view of the customer experience. Responsibilities: Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the insights partner for various CX teams across the organization, including Customer Marketing, Channels (Care, Retail, Digital VOC), and Product. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess research needs and impacts, providing actionable recommendations. Customer Experience Evaluation: Evaluate and measure customer experience and satisfaction at different points in the customer journey, highlighting collective opportunities and risks to the organization. Uncover and evangelize insights from ongoing customer satisfaction, experience, and deactivation studies to key internal stakeholders. Research Project Leadership: Conduct primary research studies (both qualitative and quantitative), from creating research briefs to final reporting. Lead vendor selection and management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Efficiently analyze data, providing impactful top-level insights in a brief newsletter reporting format. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally, sharing relevant insights across teams. Compile insights from primary, secondary, and other Customer Listening Sources to provide a holistic point of view and strategic recommendations. Qualifications: Minimum Required: 3+ years of marketing research/consumer insights experience. Thorough knowledge of marketing research methods and best practices. Experience leading research projects independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. SPSS and statistical acumen. Desired: 4-6 years of experience in US wireless, consumer electronics, technology, or consumer/packaged goods industries. Experience leading ongoing customer satisfaction, experience, and/or deactivation studies. Proficiency in database querying (SQL) for data analysis. Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization platforms. Survey-programming proficiency (especially Qualtrics). Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher preferred.
