Job Title: GSCO Sales Operations Analyst

Organization: Global Sales and Consulting Operations

The Team

The GSCO (Global Sales and Consulting Operations) central team is responsible for providing Training,

Business Support and Communications on the Sales Systems and Tools used by Sales and Consulting

globally. We are currently looking for a hard-working individual to work within the GSCO Tier 2 Support

team.

The Role

The GSCO Sales Operations Analyst will report to the GSCO Support Operations Manager and will be.

responsible for providing high quality, adaptable support to Oracle’s Global Sales and Consulting teams.

Successful candidates will have exposure in supporting internal stakeholders. Professional-level English

written and verbal skills and a dedication to high quality customer service are critical.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of sophisticated cases and provides support on technical systems.

  • Provides 2nd level of support to Sales end-to-end processes to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated queries and system issues.

  • Provide updates/training to other colleagues within area of expertise.

  • Act as a liaison the sales team and various other supporting functions (GSCO, Deal

  • Management, AR, Collections, Credit Team, Order Management, Approvals, Business Practices,

  • Revenue Recognition, Incentive Compensation, etc.)

  • Gain an understanding of the business priorities and challenges of the Global Sales Reps and

  • Managers.

  • Support new application rollouts and participate in testing of new applications.

  • Meet GSCO Support KPIs and targets and communicate activity metrics to GSCO management.

  • Keep current on new releases and improvements.

  • Undertake administrative responsibilities and other projects as the need arises.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • BS Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related.

  • Good Digital literacy, esp. in Word/Excel.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and mathematical skills.

  • Ability and desire to provide excellent customer-service to internal customers.

  • Ability to work independently and in a complex environment.

  • Availability to provide weekend coverage on a quarterly basis.

  • Proactive, excellent teammate, with a positive, “Can Do” Demeanor.

  • Results orientated, problem-solving skills.

  • Exposure in supporting Sales Representatives is a plus.

  • Exposure working with Oracle applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations. Reviews capital expenditures and analyzes sales-related expenses associated with such things as the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales efficiency and goal attainment. Performs regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets. Evaluates pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives. Optimally incorporates client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations. Maintains and improves sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to optimally supervise and handle revenue/expenses. May develop sales quote tools.

US: Hiring Range: from $21.92 to $42.93 per hour; from $45,600 to $89,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
