Hybrid requirement- willingness to work at Aetna office 3 days a week. Potential for minimal future travel.

Position Summary

The Sr. Clinical Strategist will support all markets, covering all products, acting as a key partner for subject matter expertise on clinical contractual and regulatory requirements. The Sr. Clinical Strategist will support the coordination and preparation for internal and external audits , partnering closely with compliance to reduce risk to the organization. The Strategist will be responsible for engaging with the clinical and informatics teams to coordinate and interpret requirements into data with system experts, perform user acceptance testing, and data validation. The Sr. Clinical Strategist will design and implement the readiness/preparation supports, manage data validation for key internal and external reporting, support ongoing development and maintenance of performance dashboards and internal reporting development partnering with informatics, provide subject matter expertise and project management support for large scale remediation projects, partner with central compliance leads for escalations and large-scale risks. Required Qualifications

  • Active and good standing RN license in state of residence

  • Minimum 3 years clinical compliance experience in a managed care setting

  • Minimum 3 years clinical reporting and data analytics experience

  • Minimum 3 years clinical operations and performance improvement experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Excel and Visio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Certification

  • Ability to read/write SQL coding

  • Prior external clinical audit participation

Education

  • Associates degree minimum

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$87,035.00 - $187,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
