The Supply Chain manager will coordinate materials management activities including ordering of indirect materials, warehouse and inventory control operations, planning and scheduling elements, and picking and shipping operations. This individual will lead a team responsible for more than $15mm in raw material inventories across two sites and one external warehouse. Additionally, this individual will provide governance and leadership over the site weekly production planning and monthly S&OP meetings. Reporting to the role will be the Production, Planning, and Compliance Specialist, PLAN contractors, and third-party warehouse contractors. This team member will serve occasionally as the direct delegate for the PLAN Sr. Manager, representing the site in multiple forums and customer concern meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads projects as needed to improve warehouse capacity, warehouse optimization, and material flow.

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Receiving, Shipping, and Warehouse Operations during internal and external audits.

  • Support and advise capacity planners with short term capacity planning and escalate to leadership any potential production issues.

  • Leads weekly site production planning meeting, driving resolutions to production challenges.

  • Lead resolutions to material shortages for materials ordered through the supporting 3PL.

  • Represent Cornelia in various customer service forums throughout the Ethicon Organization

  • Manages a team of individual contributors and contractors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.

  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS required, MBA or MS preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6 years in Mfg. and/or logistics with BA, 4 with MBA

  • 2 years of direct experience with supply chain planning functions (capacity, supply or network planning. Logistics planning or similar role)

  • SAP Knowledge and experience required

  • Direct experience in a regulated environment involving audits and quality compliance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as conflict resolution skills/good interpersonal skills to effectively influence colleagues and management.

  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders – internally, externally and spanning global geographies – and ability to work up, down and lateral across the organization

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with PLAN system (OMP and SAP) preferred

  • Understanding of S&OP process preferred

  • Experience in employee engagement, internal social/digital media, internal communications, executive communications and/or public relations experience

OTHER:

  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel
