Job Description

Location: Dalian Shared Service Center, China

Responsibilities

• Execute day to day accounting activities and the monthly closing

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Analyzing P&L accounts

• Manage the accruals and sales rebate process

• Ensure full compliance with SOX audit rules

• Independently Prepare various monthly corporate consolidated work papers, schedules, and financial statements.

• Prepare various journal entries for selected general ledger accounts.

• Coordinate and/or complete analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

• Prepare monthly inter-company billings, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Perform and assist in special accounting and analysis projects. Proactively review the GL Accounting process and find out any potential risks and issues, then propose process improvement independently, enhance internal control.

• Creation the GL Accounting process documentations including process map , working instructions, ensure these document could be timely updated and reviewed, support team lead for special case analysis, FAQ and training document.

• Provide the high value added service to Customers with solid accounting experience and Albemarle Knowledge

• Well understand Albemarle Journal Entry policy and Account Reconciliation policy , ensure the Supporting documentation in line with the policy’s requirement

Key competencies:

• Language: Korea must and English Must.

• College or university degree in finance/accounting or with certificate of Accounting

• 5-8 years of General Ledger accounting experience in Foreign Companies

• China GAAP & US GAAP experience preferred

• Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP experience is an advantage)

• Analytical mindset ; use a methodical step-by-step approach to break down complex problems or processes into their constituents parts, identify causes and effects patterns and analyze problems to arrive to an appropriate solution

• Excellent problem solving skills , Outstanding communication skills: can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups; can settle differences with minimum noise; can win concessions without damaging relationships; can be both direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; has a good sense of timing.

• Costumer focused attitude ; meet or exceed costumers expectations (internal/external), establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect

• Good organizing and time management skills ; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal, arranges information and files in a useful manner, concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities

• Self development skills ; he/she is personally committed to and actively works to continuously improve him/herself; understands that different situations and levels may call for different skills and approaches

• Work independently, a new project or new process implementation with the common sense and know how to ask support.
