Responsibilities

As the Production Supervisor at School Excess, you will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that our quality, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met. In this key hands-on role, you will be tasked with supervising warehouse personnel, planning and assigning work, and implementing policies and procedures that enhance production efficiency and workplace conditions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and inspecting inventories of work-in-progress and finished goods. You will also lead LEAN initiatives, conduct accident investigations, ensure optimal inventory levels, and prioritize departmental tasks. Additionally, you will oversee facility maintenance, develop training programs, and strategize the potential introduction of an additional shift to meet production demands. As a pivotal figure in resolving customer complaints and promoting an inclusive team environment, you will also work on minimizing controllable costs and driving safety improvements.
