Description

We are looking for a diligent Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves managing our company's financial transactions, specifically focusing on processing invoices, recording payments, and handling customer inquiries related to credit. You will be part of a dynamic team in the facilities management services industry, actively contributing to the company's financial health and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L

• Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

• Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested

• Handle a range of basic accounting tasks using standard procedures

• Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• Verify documents and codes

• Support, relate, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the organization

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Knowledge of Cash Applications

• Experience with Cash Collections

• Understanding of Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software
