LINQUEST CORPORATION Associate Manager, Program Control in Dayton, Ohio

Description LinQuest is seeking an Associate Manager, Program Control to join our team in Dayton, OH or Herndon, VA. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance is required. As the Associate Manager, Program Control (PC) you will provide a full range of business operations services and program control management for a Line of Business/Business Unit (BU). You will be responsible for financial, project control and business operations on all assigned programs within a specific Business Unit (BU) or multiple BU's. Hybrid/remote work may be considered for this opportunity. The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF) may be required. Responsibilities: Gather, validate, organize and analyze financial data. Full life-cycle financial management of programs. Supports BU(s) contract budgets, forecasts, and waterfall preparation, reporting and analysis. Manage, direct, guide and coach direct reports, for all PC-related responsibilities. Oversees subcontractor funds & expenditure tracking on BU(s) contracts. Ensures contract deliverables are submitted by customer deadlines. Provides proposal and contract action guidance and support. Provides financial support to GM of BU(s). Prepare financial models for standardized use. Responsible for all contract-related financial data for BU(s), including month end close activities and ASC606 EAC's. Works with Billing to minimize unbilled amounts for the contracts within their BU(s). Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. 5+ years of related experience, including 5+ years direct experience managing PC/Finance staff. Expertise in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARs) Contracting. Prior supervisory and managerial experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting. Highly skilled with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting with Excel, PowerPoint and other productivity tools. Critical thinker, analytical skills, attention to detail. Organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines. Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc. Deals with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Harmoniously works with other employees and customers. Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles complex supplier/vendor issues. Strong presentation and written communication skills. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Deltek CostPoint (experience with Planning module a plus), Cognos, Unanet, Salesforce (preferred) Compensation: Starting salary ranges from approximately $115,000 - $130,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
