In this position...

The GCamp NA Field Service Action Coordinator reports directly to the Business Operations Manager. The GCamp Coordinator is responsible for managing the dealer, owner and fleet data release/update process for FSAs, executing the posting of FSA dealer bulletins to the dealer website, activating appropriate GCamp system interfaces for programs and managing/coordinating the timely processing and distribution of government reports.

What you'll do...

  • Input, review, and confirm targeting criteria for affected vehicle population in support of potential and approved FSAs for processing in the GCamp system. Utilize FSA population control plan as needed.

  • Prepare and process special requests for extract information in support of Automotive Safety Office/Office of the General Council and other company activities.

  • Support implementation of FSAs in GCamp and coordinate with Global country coordinators.

  • Manage the timely launch of FSAs:

  • Pull timely extracts for FSAs.

  • Execute the posting of FSA dealer bulletins using GCAMP & FMCDealer posting tools and activate FSA VIN Lists as appropriate.

  • Activate appropriate GCamp system interfaces and enter GCamp edit controls/program expiration limits at program launch, as directed by the Program Manager or Product Concern Analyst.

  • Support IT efforts to update the GCamp System (enhancements, system maintenance, UAT Testing and training)

  • Request owner name and address updates from appropriate vendor (NCOA or external name and address). Release mail files to the mail vendor for original, phase, and follow-up mailings. Update GCamp mail dates, as required.

  • Prepare and process special requests for extract information in support of Program Manager and Critical Concern Management team requests.

  • Manage and coordinate the timely processing and distribution of government reports (safety and emissions programs); perform the same for other report types, where required.

  • Participate in multi-regional coordinator meetings to prioritize, monitor resolution, and test corrective actions for system defects and enhancements.

  • Support preparation of Weekly Status Sheets.

  • Perform GCamp functionality reviews and testing prior to production migration.

  • Ensure timely release of FSA Dealer Bulletins (first dealer communication before NHTSA posting on Safety & Compliance programs)Send out notification of Field Service Action number assignment.

  • Support 14D closure process and FSA ISO documentation

  • Perform file searches in response to inquiries from the various agencies.

  • Provide leadership and direction to suppliers (Renkim/S&P Global) to ensure all program timing milestones are achieved.

  • Maintain required records and conduct annual file reviews in support of record retention policies and suspension orders from the Office of the General Counsel.

  • Assist in training new GCAMP Coordinators

  • Communicate Executive announcement to distribution list on day of launch.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of professional work experience

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Eagerness to learn.

  • Ability to work as a team yet take action independently.

  • In-depth knowledge of Excel and formulas; SQL query experience a plus

  • Windows Explorer/file maintenance experience

  • Experience working w/ WebEx teams.

  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to take ownership of projects

  • Strong understanding of systems (GCAMP, OWS, etc)

  • Ability to understand analytics and work with data.

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8.
