SCL Health Behavioral Health Manager - Day Treatment in Denver, Colorado

Job Description:The Clinical Manager has oversight and supervision of clinical programming and clinical staff in their assigned program(s). Responsible for overseeing and maintaining operations to ensure the clinical needs of all patients are met in a trauma-informed environment, monitoring department quality and training initiatives, and supporting program growth and financial sustainability. This position collaborates with program leaders across Mount Saint Vincent's continuum of care to provide a structured, therapeutic, and regulating environment for the patients, students, and staff.

Scope

As a Clinical Manager you need to know how to: Perform all responsibilities in a manner that is reflective of the mission and philosophy of Mount St. Vincent. Be sensitive to the cultural differences among the children, families and staff and respond appropriately and sensitively to those differences. Develop collaborative relationships with agency leaders, community partners, regulatory agencies, associates, and patients in a manner that benefits the organization. In collaboration with the Clinical Director and agency leaders, lead implementation of the strategic, quality and performance improvement initiatives across assigned departments. Monitor high performance standards, provide actionable feedback and facilitate communication and teamwork to ensure quality outcomes across assigned departments. Provide direct supervision to Clinical Supervisors of assigned departments. Ensure associate and financial resources are utilized appropriately and shift resources to meet both patient and department needs within set departmental budgets. Respond to and resolve escalated or complex patient issues, making decisions that include multiple perspectives and address underlying problems. Conduct associate performance reviews, professional development, employee engagement succession planning and retention strategies across assigned departments. Interpret and explain regulatory standards, organization policies, procedures and rules to associates and ensure compliance. Partner with human resources on personnel functions to include: interviewing selection, orientation, onboarding, and policy and procedure review in hiring of department associates. Maintain personnel files, timekeeping and payroll of direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in state of practice
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant behavioral health experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant clinical supervisory experience
  • Current Colorado Drivers License; Motor vehicle record and proof of automobile insurance coverage to be updated annually

Preferred: Five (5) years or more of relevant behavioral health experience

Physical Requirements:Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and -May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.$34.48 - $61.27
