Customer Analytics Analyst II

The Customer Service Analyst II is responsible for reviewing opportunities on the supply chain front by partnering up with our customers and internal departments to identify the challenges at hand and, more importantly, develop and implement solutions. To do this, the individual must display strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the upstream/downstream supply chain, and the ability to organize and execute within cross-functional teams. The team member, through collaboration with their tactical counterparts, will, on an ongoing basis, identify and monetize incremental opportunities so that we can further drive operational efficiencies and change behavior where needed, all while driving out cost within our supply chain

Essential Functions

Customer Metrics Development and Communication:

  • Develop a good understanding of data provided in customer portals and customer reports, among other access to information.

  • Define, calculate, and communicate metrics to assess customer behavior: order volatility, order lead time, order reschedules, customer in-stock, customer fill rate, CPU performance, scheduling practices, and inventory strategies, among others.

  • Leverage customer information and Niagara's supply chain practices to identify areas of opportunity to drive out cost, elevate service, and improve processes for the Niagara and Customer supply chain.

  • Provide valuable information to internal stakeholders to elevate our customer service and strengthen Niagara's relationship with our customers.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication:

  • Work alongside other Niagara departments, such as logistics, planning, procurement, and finance, to identify improvement opportunities in the customer supply chain.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, sales, and marketing, to align strategies and drive positive customer outcomes.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders effectively.

Customer Fines and Fees Management:

  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to customer fines and fees.

  • Evaluate trends, perform root cause analysis, and diagnose sources of opportunities.

  • Develop strategic plans to reduce and control customer fines and fees, collaborating with Finance, Customer Service Reps, and Sales.

Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) Optimization:

  • Collect, analyze, and report RMA data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement plans to reduce RMA rates and enhance the return process efficiency.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in customer interactions.

  • Implement strategies and initiatives to enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 Years – Experience working with data analytics in a Supply Chain department or other related field

  • List if any travel is required using percentage of time:

  • 25% - on average travels 1 week out of the month

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience working with data analytics in Supply Chain department or other related field

Education

  • Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or other related field

  • Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or other related field
