Job description

Fusion Technology  is hiring for an experienced Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Professional (EOHS).

  • Title: Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Professional (EOHS)

  • Pay: $50 - $70 per hour

  • Location: Traveling to FAA Facilities

  • Full Benefits and possible Clearance sponsorship

  • PART-TIME  Position

    Job Description:

    Asbestos bulk samples must be collected in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) “Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Building Materials” (EPA 600-R-93-116). An AHERA accredited asbestos inspector must collect the samples. Obtain, update, and track facility information pertaining to asbestos, lead, or other hazardous materials. Assist with prioritizing projects and field needs. Interact with SECMs, SSCMs, TOMs, PIMs, engineers, EOSH professionals, and other field personnel for project information and tracking purposes.

    · Conduct asbestos surveys.

    · Perform site visits and create trip reports.

    · Review and critique documents. Compare to Federal, state, and local regulations, including consensus standards where applicable.

    · Arrange and attend meetings and telecons with stakeholders. Prepare agendas, documents, and other items to support these functions.

    Requirements:

    A bachelor of science degree (4-years) from an accredited college/university

    · 5 years of industrial hygiene experience, which includes a minimum of 2 years of asbestos experience

    · Strong communication and organizational skills

    FAA experience is strongly preferred

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

    Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday
