Description

We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing the billing process. The successful candidate will play a significant role in our growth strategy by enabling scalability planning within our current endeavors.

Responsibilities:

• Create sales orders, invoices, and manage the billing process in a timely manner.

• Manage the payment application process to ensure payments are properly coded to customer’s accounts.

• Handle all customer correspondence regarding payment status, invoice requests, and inquiries, including researching and resolving accounts receivable issues with account managers and customers.

• Issue customer credit memos, ensuring appropriate back up documentation is included and proper approvals.

• Manage the collection process and ensure customers adhere to their credit limits.

• Support month-end and year-end close.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Support customer master data including setting up customers properly and working with sales on credit applications.

• Reconcile customer statements.

• Assist with updating pricing sheets for the salespeople.

• Administration duties, to include scanning documents to input into software and assisting with answering phones.

• Must be detail and deadline oriented.

• Additional responsibilities as required.

This role is 100% in office.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SAP software is beneficial

• Prior work in the construction industry is a plus
