We are looking for an experienced and trained Quality Control Technician, with the ability to support quality activities across the company. A working knowledge of creating a people first organization that empowers and develops employees is a must. Job Responsibilities

The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

Under limited supervision performs and may be certified in a wide range of complex inspections. Performs in-process inspection of (mount, bond, solder, coat, mark, can weld and seal) and/or finished production assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards. Working from final assembly drawings, engineering change notices or established operating procedures, determines acceptance, rejection or rework requirements for unit. Performs acceptance prior to shipment and supports customer source. Must have the ability to understand and accomplish job requirements by means of oral and written instructions; be able to effectively complete paper work associated with job

Qualifications

Job Requirements

· One to three years manufacturing experience in inspection of standard electronic in line and final assemblies.

· Typically requires high school education or equivalent, work in a team environment, meet all attendance requirements and demonstrate willingness to learn new operations.

· Entry level to advanced computer knowledge.

· Must be able to determine acceptance or rejection criteria, perform bond pulls, ball and die shear, element evaluation (solder ability, steam age and lead integrity)

· Perform acceptance to ship and audit assembly process.

· Experience in a clean room environment

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Flexible/adaptable

Preferred Additional Skills

· MIL-Specs (Mil-STD-750, MIL-STD-883, Mil-PRF-19500, Mil-PRF-38534)

· Other spec knowledge as well (e.g., IPC, ISO, medical, automotive, etc)
