Description
Under close supervision, assists with the tracking and monitoring of the reliability and production of the plant or fleet. Provides recommendations and guidance for execution of methods, engineering solutions, tactics and strategies for enhancing the overall reliability and production of the plant or fleet.
Leads brain-storming and fact finding sessions at the crew level and researches proven external solutions to similar crew issues
Implements lessons learned and best practices from other sites and external parties at the crew level
Influences and motivates change in operational behavior and processes at a crew level
Makes observations, reports and root cause analysis to Senior Innovation Engineer regarding continuous improvement opportunities on assigned crews
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience required.
Exposure to probability, statistical analysis and reliability engineering
Ability to research and interpret data of minimal complexity using hypothesis generation and Design of Experiment methodologies
Knowledge of software tools (Python, R, SQL, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of the processes, costs, schedules, constraints and deliverables of assigned crews to improve safety, process efficiencies, production rates, cost controls and protection of the environment
Knowledge of the equipment and associated SOPs at a crew level.
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred
Experience leading problem solving, root cause analysis, or similar
Experience interacting with frontline in industrial environment
Ability to develop and communicate concise messages effectively
Experience interpreting analytical results
*What We Offer You *
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $73,000-$100,000 . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
