State of Montana Compliance & Communications Specialist (00543) in Helena, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Senior & Long Term Care, Aging Services. This position is part of the Aging Services Bureau of the Senior and Long Term Care Division. The Aging Services Bureau is the State Unit on Aging and administers the Older Americans Act in partnership with the nine Area Agencies on Aging throughout the state. Responsibilities will include: the development and implementation of consistent program and financial compliance reviews of services delivered under the Older Americans Act, verify policy and procedures are written in an understandable format with an updated schedule; and confirms with participants that services meet their needs. This position participates in outreach activities to educate the public on issues impacting seniors as the lead host of the Aging Horizons television show. As the host, this position will work closely with the producer of the show to schedule monthly interviewees that offer services and supports statewide to the targeted group; adults aged 60 and older, adults 18 and older with a disability, and family caregivers.
