What Quality Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Compliance is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products and services, and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Advanced communication skills – ability to explain in detail the reasoning for decisions made

  • Apply working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks

  • Work on projects of moderate scope and complexity

  • Identify possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and take action to resolve

  • Apply judgment within defined parameters

  • Receive general guidance and additional detailed instruction on new projects

  • Review work for sound reasoning and accuracy

  • Occasional travel to the office for training/meetings as needed

Responsibilities

  • Execute all applicable Open Source and Law Enforcement searches as required

  • Effectively manage a queue of tasks on a first in first out basis

  • Ensure collaboration across all Controlled Substance Monitoring Program teams, and Regulatory Compliance teams, to ensure the background search processes continue to meet Controlled Substance Monitoring Program expectations.

  • Exercise sound decision making when determining process outcomes, to drive efficiencies for queue management

  • Display advanced communication skills with the ability to explain in detail the reasoning for decisions made

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • 2-4 years of project management experience preferred

  • Familiarity with Pharmacy Operations

  • Familiarity with Internet based search functions

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Anticipated salary range: $55,400 - $79,200

  • Bonus eligible: No
