Job Summary:

As the Sales Enablement Director, you will play a pivotal role within the Akima Corporate Development team, driving initiatives to enhance our business winning capabilities and foster accelerated profitable growth. You will lead the deployment and management of solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of our sales activities. Applying user-centered design principles with a focus on user interface and experience, you will enhance the employee experience with our sales infrastructure and elevate data quality. Your collaboration with Corporate Development leadership and other key functions will ensure alignment with business objectives and enhance decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Sales Reporting and Analytics:

  • Provides sales performance metrics to Akima leadership for various key reviews including but not limited to monthly corporate pipeline reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Board Meetings, and other key reviews.

  • Assesses internal stakeholder reporting needs and develop appropriate reports/dashboards.

  • Collaborates with the Chief Growth Officer and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for sales performance analysis and business planning.

  • Derives insights into pipeline trends and provide leadership with strategic perspectives.

  • Maintains data continuity for all reporting through regular collaboration with stakeholders.

Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Acts as the chief CRM user advocate, overseeing enhancements and implementation of updates.

  • Ensures data accuracy and completeness within Akima’s CRM platform.

  • Partners with functional counterparts to integrate CRM functionality and data across enterprise systems.

  • Investigates alternative CRM solutions, develop business cases, and lead platform transition and data migration.

Drive Knowledge Management:

  • Designs, develops and implements an enterprise Knowledge Management solution for contract descriptions, proposal content, and other relevant information.

  • Guides initial data population and manage annual information refreshes.

Market and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Oversees and enhance market and competitive intelligence suite of tools.

  • Rationalizes and assesses suite of tools to optimize return on investment.

  • Serves as primary POC for negotiations, customizations, design and administration of this suite of tools.

Pilot Emerging Technologies:

  • Investigates and pilots emerging enablement technologies, such as generative AI.

M&A Integration Lead:

  • Acts as the lead for all Sales Enablement-related requirements during M&A integration.

Organizational Change Management:

  • Drives platform adoption and data quality through user engagement and training.

  • Fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with deep knowledge of relevant tools and technologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.

  • Analytical thinker with strong communication skills.

  • Customer-focused and ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint and other Corporate Development software’s.
