3rd Shift Team Lead

Adecco is hiring for a 3rd Shift Team Lead for a steel manufacturing warehouse. As a Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by directly supervising Machine Operators and General Production Associates. Your primary mission is to guarantee the proper functioning of machinery during shifts while overseeing the accurate execution of operators' tasks.

Main Functions:

  • Verify the correct operation of machinery.

  • Ensure the safety of machines prior to shift commencement.

  • Monitor the production process to ensure parts are manufactured according to drawing specifications.

  • Distribute spare parts for machines and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees.

  • Track attendance and address any absences among operators.

  • Provide training and guidance to operators, especially newcomers, on workstation operations and machinery usage.

  • Report any material defects or deterioration to the quality department.

  • Alert the quality department in case of defective parts.

  • Notify the security department in the event of an accident.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a technical field such as Metal Structures, Electromechanics, Manufacturing, or Production.

  • Homologation in Mig-Mag Welding (Nice to have).

  • Robotics course (Nice to have).

  • Forklift and overhead crane certification (Preferred).

Languages:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish required.

Experience:

  • Experience with overhead crane and forklift operations (Nice to have).

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
