Schlumberger Sales Engineer in Houston, Texas

As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing relationships with our valued customers. Your primary responsibility is to drive the sales of our Business Line products and services within designated accounts, leveraging your deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics. By strategically positioning our offerings, you will expand market share and revenue streams for assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored strategies to safeguard, expand, and maximize growth within key accounts.

  • Engage daily with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships, navigating positive and challenging interactions.

  • Formulate and execute approved sales plans tailored to each assigned account.

  • Utilize market insights to determine competitive pricing for optimal market positioning.

  • Contribute to comprehensive cross-Business Line initiatives across our entire portfolio.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer activities in our CRM platforms, including:

  • key drivers

  • customer profiles

  • organizational structures

  • visit summaries.

  • Monitor and analyze competitor activity to inform and guide our strategic approach.

  • Identify and assess all sales leads and potential opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline.

  • Collaborate with management to establish sales objectives and align strategies accordingly.

  • Actively promote our services and technologies at industry events and conferences.

  • Attend relevant training for proficiency in our latest offerings as well as our competitors.

  • Provide support for receivables management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years sales experience

  • 2-5 Artificial Lift experience

  • Candidate must be legally able to work and reside in the US without Sponsorship.

The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

• At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000.
