JOB SUMMARY

Participate in the conduct of assigned portions of Shared Services Accounting & Finance. Assists management in the optimization of the department through the examination and evaluation of the company's financial and operational controls and procedures to provide comments and recommendations concerning the activities reviewed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively seeks new ideas or procedures related to internal control which will enhance the overall efficiency of the Department.

• Participates in resolving unbilled transactions in Accounts Receivable through research to obtain all missing required documentation needed for invoice creation.

• Assists with Audit research.

• Assists with departmental reporting.

• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

• Working towards Bachelors, Accounting, Finance, or Business.

• Courses in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, and other business related courses.

BEHAVIORAL COMPENTENCIES

• Willing and able to work in a team environment.

• Strong analytical aptitude.

• Well developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at various levels of the organization.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Proficient with MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business related applications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• The primary location for this position is an office environment.

• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.

• Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
