Description

We are looking for a Sr. Quality Analyst for our newly established Hyderabad Global Shared Services Office. The Sr. QA Analyst position is that of a functional test and being SPOC guiding the team. This person will work closely with the application development manager to identify weaknesses in software. This is a start-up office, so part of the Sr. QA Analysts responsibilities will be to help setup best practices for testing software including any automated testing the QA feels would benefit the team.

Key Responsible Areas:

• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures and overseeing the QA process.

• Mentoring the team and taking complete ownership to drive the project as being SPOC.

• Analysis of software/product requirements and produces test estimations. Ready to accept the challenges and doing multi-tasking.

• Good in understanding the requirements and communication should be effective.

• Following QA process (Testcase design, execution, rasing defects, Agile)

• Review design specifications to ensure understanding of project.

• Identify test requirements from specifications and design testing to ensure coverage of project.

• Identify any potential quality issues immediately report to manager.

• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.

• Working on automation tools and setting up framework which can be useful for all applications and coordinating with manual team to reduce their effort.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Experience:

• 7-10 years of relevant QA technical experience.

• Experience in Web Services Testing is preferred.

• Knowledge and Experience of any ERP applications.

• Having good experience in Ecommerce domain.

• Ability to switch to other domain testing.

• Experience in Web Services Testing, API, Database.

• Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases, test result, sign-off document.

• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.

• Communicate with development and project management.

• Ability to lead and work as part of a team with good work ethics.

• Strong communication skills are required (oral and written).

• University degree.

• Software Quality Certification is expected to gain education/certification.

• Knowledge of bug tracking tool (Jira preferred).

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Web and Desktop application testing, knowledge of web services, database, Mobile testing.

• Experience in Selenium automation is preferred.

• Experience in Agile.

• Team collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and methodology

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
