SC Planning Analyst
Responsible for performing work to achievecorporate supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction,increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.
The incumbent is a key team member deployingthe Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the Plan for Every Part andPull Replenishment methods for a facility.
Incumbent is required to work effectivelywith diverse, multi-functional teams in order to apply the supply chainplanning process and lead team efforts to develop lean material flow plans fora facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout andmaterial presentation at the point of use.
Incumbent gathers and analyzes data onfacility demand and demand variability for each part required for productionbased on daily demand buckets for 120 work days.This role gathers and analyzes data aboutsupplier shipping performance and variability % for each part number (both Timeand Qty) This position is develops material flow plans for all material cominginto a facility for production.Incumbent reviews, analyzes and cleans data prior to migration it intothe PFEP Web Tool.This position leadsthe work of Supply Chain Planning Analysts in the documentation of this datainto the Plan for Every Part web tool.
The incumbent is responsible for creating andmaintaining a site level Flow Map for parts used in production.This position enables / coaches facilityemployees to utilize PFEP templates to load and maintain data in PFEP Web Tool,and provides reports and information to facility resources requiring PFEPinformation.
This position performs physical, tacticalwork across multiple functions to implement the supply chain planning processand develop a Plan for Every part for every value stream in a facility, and iscalled upon to direct the work of Supply Chain Planning Analysts.The incumbent must be able to work amongproduction employees with little to no disruption to their workload, and leadothers to deploy processes in the plant..
This position performs physical, tacticalwork across multiple functions to make improvements required to attain MQ orother like Certification for a Value Stream.The incumbent performs physical, tactical work to reduce / eliminatesupply chain constraints inside a value stream, working with a cross-functionalteam of personnel.
College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering is required
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills
Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
General product knowledge
Minimum of five years of progressively more complex supply chain experience
