Job Overview:
Advance McDermott’s position as a provider of world class EPCI contractor in the Offshore and Floating Facilities worldwide. The Manager Piping Engineering will be responsible to maintain an adequate size of group of Piping Engineers and Designers with a strong level of technical capability to support multiple FPSO, FPU and large CPP projects which could be either FEED or EPIC.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to all Leads, Piping Engineers and Designers for multiple FEED and EPIC projects
Identify, mentor & grow key resources and Piping engineering talent pool for different sections in the Piping Engineering team
To maintain high level of reimbursability for the Piping Engineering team
To identify and make available key engineering softwares which are critical to the efficient execution of Piping engineering activities
To support all Tendering activities, FEED or EPIC, execute and deliver the required data and information for successfully completing the Tender document
Promote a healthy and productive relationship with PMT, peers and other stakeholders whilst executing and completing the FEED and EPIC projects
Promote knowledge management within Piping Engineering team, including implementation of lessons learned and best practices
Accountable for the quality, performance and results of the Piping Engineering team
Timely, make the required recommendation for promotion or salary adjustment to the deserving Engineers and Designers
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer’s status
Working knowledge required
35+ years in Offshore Oil & Gas major contractor or consultant
