Eaton Corporation Electrical Engineer Intern - 13 Month Placement in Leicestershire, United Kingdom

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Leicestershire. You will support the Field Application Engineering team function with ongoing project requirements, including help with providing technical support and selecting suitable protection solutions to the customers within the High Speed Product line area, backing new product development and application service activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Field Application Engineering team function with ongoing project requirements, including help with providing technical support and selecting suitable protection solutions to the customers within the High Speed Product line area, backing new product development and application service activities.

  • Support High Speed Products' technical application projects.

  • Assist with development of customized products for specific customer applications.

  • Work closely with the Global Engineering team to standardise on systems and processes, including maintenance of product literature, both printed and electronic formats.

  • Support new product extensions within and outside the Eaton’s Bussmann established fuse design range to meet key customers' future needs for high-end solutions.

  • Propose and support new digital tools to strengthen market position for the organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Studying Engineering degree; working towards 2:1
