Must obtain a MA or higher from accredited college or institution or currently licensed in one of the following: Social Work (LCSW, LICSW, LGSW), Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Psychologist. This position requires extensive knowledge and understanding of mental illness and its effects. This position requires the ability to apply counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to persons affected by mental illness and a thorough knowledge of community resources and ability to relate positively to the family of the consumer and community resources in an attempt to assist the consumer maintain or improve their level of function.
